I started this blog in 2008 as an attempt to reach out to other “institutional” cooks looking for something more appetizing than tuna casserole to serve up and as a way to spread the word that cooking for large groups does not have to mean processed food. While I have included some recipes, I try through my posts to encourage cooks of all types to put away the books, shelve the frozen lasagna, and just make something simply good to eat.
